Help! Just got license back endorsed wrong...

Got lasered in August in Wales doing 87 in a 70 Dual NSL A Road (A449).

They offered a Fixed Penalty of 3 points and 60 quid, I took it.

Just got my license back and they have endorsed it with an SP50. According to the DVLA webpage, an SP50 is to "exceed the speed limit on the motorway".

Is it worth me challenging this or shall I just leave it?

Depends. Did they give you 3 points or 6?. If only three then you have been given the same penalty but a different so I wouldn't worry to much.

However, it might be worth asking if the an SP50 has more affect on insurance than an SP30.
