Incompetent and dangerous cyclist? Where does it say that about the unfortunate cyclist who was on a shared pavement? Partially sighted and with cerebral palsy, pedestrian sent to jail for being on a pavement at the same time as an incompetent and dangerous cyclist.

Where cars and bikes share the same space, driver now always guilty if hits cyclist
Isn't there a hierarchy for traffic related stuff for vulnerability, trucks/buses, vans, cars, motor bikes bikes and pedestrians the most protected? Terrible incident but i hate cyclists on the pavement they are dangerous. They have cycle lanes, roads, all laws protect them irrespective of their behaviour now they also have priority over pedestrians?

There's some top quality victim blaming going on there.Partially sighted and with cerebral palsy, pedestrian sent to jail for being on a pavement at the same time as an incompetent and dangerous cyclist.

If that was your mum pushed under a car I'd imagine you might feel differently about it.

Indeed - If vehicles have a duty to allow a minimum distance when passing a bike then does it not follow the bike has the same duty towards a pedestrian?
Not when the pedestrian stands in the way of the cyclist waving her arms around then pushes her into the road. The cyclist was 77, staying safe out the way of the traffic. Not some youth wheelieing down the pavement terrorising pedestrians. She could have easily stepped to the side and allowed the cyclist to pass and everyone would have had a nice day. Totally the right verdict in my opinion.

...."shouted an expletive and gestured in an "aggressive way" towards Celia Ward, who fell into the path of a car in Huntingdon in 2020."

Yep top quality victim-blaming a disabled pedestrian lawfully going about her business WALKING on a PAVEMENT. There was no pushing, there was no blocking.
I do not know what video you were watching, but, the video in the link clearly shows the blocking and pushing. Absolutely the correct verdict.LimmerickLad said:

Demonstrably untrue in the case you have invited us to discuss This is a peak pistonheads thread started by someone with too much time on their hands and not enough prior thought.
It’s like you are answering an exam question at school to write with the style and accuracy of the Daily Mail.
