Danish cops against gatso-vans

Just read an article about how a police station in denmark was looking for volunteers to man a gatso-van. NOBODY volunteered as the cops themselves thought this was of no use and that it was a "sneaky" way to generate money!! (also the boredom factor was quoted)

Hurray for the DK-fuzz!!

Yeah but maybe they need to employ new tactics, e.g. "It will be frowned heavily upon if you don't meet your quota for the day" - That'll soon have them all out stopping people.
Seen the worst of the worst thing yesterday. Plod in beat up Mondeo parked on double yellow lines, 1 yards from a corner. He was in getting his Pizza order across the road from my lawyers office! Nice!

If there is one thing I can stand its a "hypo"crit.

The DK police seem to do things a little differently. My brother studied over there for a few years and once got pulled for 159kph in a 110 limit. They wanted him to pay an on the spot fine. He showed them his Student Card and they gave him a 50% student discount!!

(And apparently they don’t have a points system in Denmark so no totting up problems).
