forgot to tax vehicle

my tax expired 10 days ago and has been kept on a public road though hasn't been driven during this time.

I dont beleive online tax renewal gives me the option to backdate the tax. If I tax from now, will I get accounted for the past 10 days, what will happen and how can I resolve it?

It will just show as taxed from the day you do it. Renewal will be 1st Jan 2020 assuming you put 12 months on. Nothing else will happen. I drove around for two or three weeks without tax and nothing happened. Thankfully!

Tax is complete months only, tax it this month and you'll be fine.
