Which radar/laser detector???

Appologies if this one has been covered before, but you have convinced me that radar detectors are legal to use, so; 'Which unit would you buy and why?'

If I get one, it must detect all the laser AND radar units out there. I don't mind if it blocks them as well (I am aware of the legal implications).

I have been reading about the different units, but have managed to confuse myself even more (not hard!)
