Hi guys, How often are the Fixed Camera's cleared of film ? You know the reason I ask dont you?

Test your local camera by spraying black paint on the lenses and see how long it takes to get cleaned off.

Thought about it too believe me, I think my missus may have a bit of a ban looming if the darn this was loaded ..... Worst part of it was that I wasn't in the car at the time, In fact I was following "erthatmustbeobeyed! in another car and saw the highway robber flash her, she didnt even notice the camera let alone the flash .... grrrrrrr

I worked in digital cctv a while back and one of the things we did was put a digital recorder into one of those cameras, stored 150,000 images and could download to HQ via modem - hence never off line.
it was fitted somewhere in london but I don't know if its still there. You could also log onto it for real time viewing. it could also connect to 16 cameras so places like central london could have multiple traffic / speed / bus lane cameras in an area onto one machine.

Sorry, off the cuff, I can't say as I don't have anything to do with them except setting them off more times than I would care to. Even with blues going I still get the NIPs'
