I heard a great story about police dog handler vans from my days in Dundee. A mates dad was a dog handler. He was at a punch-up outside a club and they were short of a meat waggon, so they stuffed a prisoner into the back of a dog van. Allegedly it was a complete surprise to them that the dog was still in there, and none-too pleased.
