Research from Leeds University says that Camera's cause accidents when people brake when they see them and accelerate afterwards

Hmmmm, taking this research to it's logical conclusion speed enforement causes accidents.

I look forward to hearing the government admit that they got things wrong. Write to your MPs and to the newspapers, let them know in the strongest terms:

well actually... I fell off me bike one year braking for a gatso on a slimey winter road. No other need to brake when going in a straight line. Off I went, no flash though, and 30 quid's worth of paint, 15 for an indicator, and 15 for a decal. So 60 quid. Cheaper than a speeding ticket. NOt amused though. No reason for a 40 limit on 2 lane roads.

I used to see this happen every week on the M11...is it coincedence there are a pair of monster towtrucks at these roadwork revenue collection points?....fair enough there is a need to remove broken down vehicles but at a bit of roadworks between Stansted and Harlow?
