Cameras on the A3

Are they going to add yet more cameras to the 40/50mph stretch of the A3 outside London. The paint is on the new surface, and surely it's only a matter of time. Also, the idiots who control that road kindly painted the cameras yellow, but have still left one hidden behind a roadsign on the way into the Great Smoke. Slightly pointless?

I think those lines are for mobile units mounted on the bridge.By the way my snooper showed them as all being live apart from the one as you come into the 40mph area at robin Hood gate to richmond pk.

These markings appeared on resurfacing and barrier replacement work last year. Mobile GATSOS were installed when a temp 40 moph limit was in place as lanes were closed. They were painted on the new surfaces - I would guess they're left as a deterrent.

BTW it is is always safe to assume cameras are loaded around Kingston.
