Anyone know of a good solicitor for representation on a speeding charge?

I recommend DIY. Solicitors are an expense that only adds to your costs if it all goes tits up.

These guys are who all the rich celebrities and footballers etc like David Beckham turn to when they are as guilty as hell but want to get away with it.
I can personally vouch for their integrity and found them very useful in getting the Northamptonshire Kodak Gistapo off my back earlier this year.
However, they are expensive, expect to pay £2,000 if it goes to court but the CPS has to pay 70% of that if you win.
If that's beyond your budget then try Stapleton & Son Solicitors on [phone] - not quite as tenacious but quite competant at getting plod to drop the case.

errr, right. £660 (approx) to WIN ???????

Unless it is a particulary heineous case, that is absurd. At that expense and the risk of it becoming fully payable, I'd sooner withhold the ID and take the fine.

depends how bad the speeding charge is i guess...
