Hi traveling along dual carriageway today, bright sunshine doing 80ish saw two blokes and a sheet tied up (like the happy birthday signs you see) on bridge crossing the motorway. Thought nothing of it until I got closer then as I was overtaking and looked up to see one of the blokes had walked over to my lane (far edge of sheet) bent down with like a box in both hands facing me as I approched and went under the bridge. Was this a handheld laser? and does it take pictures in other words have I been nicked? or not. It certainly doesn't look like the yellow clad police officer in speedtraps.co.uk with obvious hairdryer. I was not pulled over or anything and no police cars later. Any clues guys?

Some laser guns can be connected to a video machine to capture the evidence, avoiding need to stop you, machine has to be within about 20-30 feet of the laser gun I beleive, normally in a van/car just round the corner.

Thanks, I couldn't see a van but the sheet thing might have hidden video stuff so I'll have to wait the 14 days. Thanks for the reply.
