Penalty for 100+mph?
Discussion
I found this after a few seconds on google
"The magistrates sentencing guidelines for driving in excess of 101 mph on a motorway or dual carriageway, provide guidance to magistrates that they should consider a period of disqualification from driving for a period of 7 – 56 days (in addition to the imposition of a fine, costs and victim impact surcharge) or to endorse with 6 penalty points.
As to how the magistrates sentence will depend not only on the speed, but also upon the surrounding factors such as the road and weather conditions, the location of the offence and generally driving conduct."

I think what i can make out is that he needs information and wants to know the likely outcome of pending speeding case.in this case the person driving has been clocked at over 100 mph would this result in a instant driving ban or will he receive points +fine.i think he would require the help of a good legal firm that deals in motoring and speeding cases

is that table correct ?
only reason I ask is that about 4 years ago I was caught by a camera van at 96 in a 70 (A road) - NIP - just 3 point FPN - this was in Warwickshire.
Yes, it is the correct 2015 SGC table. There's a different guideline for out of court disposals.only reason I ask is that about 4 years ago I was caught by a camera van at 96 in a 70 (A road) - NIP - just 3 point FPN - this was in Warwickshire.
This is the ACPO table - not every force has adopted it, and some individual police officers are more flexible than others.

The question is surely unanswerable at present.
101mph: big fine, possible ban and/or points
201mph: don't forget your toothbrush
Also, 101mph on dry motorway at lunchtime on a Wednesday = trouble.101mph: big fine, possible ban and/or points
201mph: don't forget your toothbrush
101mph in a 20mph limit outside a primary school at 8:55am Monday morning = don't bend over for the soap...
