If you're talking about the totalled T5R then how many thousands of people do you think saw it actually on the side of the road? A lot I'd wager... Besides, the pictures are all from the wire services.. which means they were probably in the papers.. and/or on the news.

Apologies if my poor taste offended your delicate sensibilities..

You should see the ones I didn't put on there

I remember a few years ago standing in Hyde Park (I think) when a couple of police cars came flying in to arrest a couple of ice cream vans who had the audacity to sell ice creams to hungry punters. The two ice cream vans spotted the cop cars, accelerated away - a vision as funny as it sounds - when one of the cop cars went too close to the kerb and buckled both of its' wheels!

End result was one ice cream seller went home that night bragging how he had out accelerated a cop car. Coupled with a few thousand people laughing at the poor policeman as he sheepishly got out his car and had to wait for someone to come and tow him away!

Not that I would condone it, of course, but anyone wanting to try 'copied' plates for Gatsos could try V881 MOB... especially if you've got a white volvo with blue and yellow panels on it

Ok... going to go against the flow a bit here....

I know that the anti motorist stance of the current government and therefore the police has all but eliminated any respect any of us ever had for the boys in blue. And that they bend cars too... But I would much rather 'Johnny Rozzer' went after the scrotes and scum that nick our cars and rob our houses, that sat around saying 'oooh car chase that a bit dangerous isn't it, I know we'll have a cup of tea and it'll all seem much better'

Guy's I'm as cheesed off as the rest of you about the persicution of the motorist, but the 'rozzers' have a job to to lets not make it harder for 'em eh!

Clause :Exceptions include revenue cameras, mobile revenue vans, those miserable buggers that do you for 33 in a 30, and any other weapons currently under development in the Police Dirty Tricks Dept.

Cheers Dan
