M4 Speed Limit Increased

OK, whats the point in the speed change?

In peak times it makes no difference anyway, infact even 40 would be nice most days,

And off peak...

Well at least we know know we can travel at 80 before we get that ban

It would be more useful if they stopped about with the variable limits on the M25 !!

Spent ages crawling through them - the gantries frequently went 60, 60, 60, 40, 60, 60, 60, 40. There was no reason for the change down to 40 as the only reason there was conjestion was because the cars approaching the 40mph gantries slowed down causing the usual domino effect !!

Totally, totally stupid !!!

Not that it's stopped me (and most of the other bikers) from using the bus lane for the last umpteen months.

Far safer.
