More Zafiras for Plod

Figures from Vauxhall reveal that the police are ordering more and more Zafiras for their fleets. Users of the mini-MPVs include Sussex Police who have 25 in service and London's Met Police who have 20. Cheshire Constabulary have two which have been adapted as prison-cell vehicles.

The cars are prepared in Biggleswade by Vauxhall Special Vehicle Operations. They come with the usual extras such as the flashing lights but more interestingly they come wiht roof reinforcement for enhanced roll over protection.

Nice to know that Plod won't be able to catch anyone any more because they'll be trying to keep their poxy Vauxhall Zafiras the right way up...

definately wont be chasing many people in their mobile sheds then..! lemme so, helicopters are too expensive to run, these sheds can't keep up, and there is virtually no chance of being stopped if you don't speed. Mmmm. Someone naughty could really take advantage of this. I fear we are the losers in this war, and the criminals are the real winners.
