Had a big fright today, had the pug down to the dealers for a look at some minor problems and on the way back felt a small shake from the wheel so with the road clear increased speed to confirm a possibly slighty unbalanced front wheel.
So after lunch was talking to one of the guys and he said "sneeky B*****s had a mobile camera in a small white van, WITH THE BONNET UP LIKE IT WAS BROKEN DOWN ON THE JOIN UP LANE ONTO on the dual.
Oh Feck.
Now I don't rem seeing that van (or the attendant chase car parked up in the next layby) and there was at least 1 1/2 hours between both of us travelling on that road but if I missed 'em both (don't think so) then I'm really in the shit.
Even so if I am in the "clear" this whole exercise has done nothing to change my opinion that "WE" are now a hunted species.MoJo

I know what you mean the jokingly named saftey camera team seem to be the new sneaky way of collecting cash on major roads where there is no accidents Makes my ***kin blood boil

With all the fixed cameras in the hypotecation scheme areas now visible, we can expect more of these thieving bastards (Mobile Theft Vehicles)on roads where it is safe to exceed speed limits set too low, for political rather than safety reasons.

Get a morpheous geodesy. A small transportable unit that advises you of upcoming accident black spots. These units are said to be very good on roads such as the A90, and other roads not covered by the hypothecation scheme/scam.
