I got the letter ! CASE CLOSED !!!
The CPS wrote to me and apologised for messing up the first & second hearings, and they beleived that I would not go to these lengths if I didn't mean what I said.
You can not imagine my sense of relief.
There is some justice, but only if you fight for it.
Keep it shiney side up people.

I can't concentrate right now! feels like I've been on the

Like to say thanks to everyone here who has given advice and/or contributed to keeping me going on this little crusade.
And big thanks to all the "friendly" cops on here, who despite being "on the other side", aren't so different to the rest of us, errr, enthuisiasts.
Now I am really going to annoy my missus and make that donation to the ABD as promised. I'll try to get them to mention my nickname & PH, so hopefully those of you who get "On the Road" will see it, and know that I really did contribute.

!! feel a bit rough, but maybe drink some more, and go to work late.. but not drunk!
Tell you what, the letter from CPS is bloody decent, very apologetic, and very human -- which goes against everything I have heard about them, hence I don't have a lot of anger left.
Amazing thing, the letter I also got today about being a "responsible rider" (join our campaigne and get 15% off insurance or some such deal) has all the common sense stuff we at PH would expect. AND NO "speed kills" crap. Unbeleivable. It also hints VERY strongly that behave yourself around town, and the NSL is yours to play, *within reason*.
So what a day.
As outlaw says, it can be done. Was it worth it? you bet. Now I am invoicing them for the day off work, and miscellaneous hours writing letters - but the fact is, SOMEONE LISTENED, and on the advice of a Traffic Cop, I took it to court.
I guess that this was special tho', cos I had very good reasons for doing the deed. Made me think of the thread in PH about defending your property - by preventing an accident, or even saving my life, I ended up in bother with the Police.
When will they learn that justice ain't dispensed via cameras?
If any of you gets really stuck, make sure you post here, and if I can help - email me, but the moral of the story is that it is better not to get caught. No matter how you achieve this, it is still easier.
