IIRC, 'You and Yours' is a program by and for the "won't somebody think of the children" brigade & I'm afraid I'd be forced to drive up to London and mutilate them all..

Bit biased. Last comment said that we should have large brilliant illuminated speedo's on the outside of the car to shame us, or words to that effect.

Yep - I'd be ashamed of having a luminescent pink VDO on the outside of my car - cos I'd look like a fcuking retard!

Wouldn't give a crap what speed it read though - numpties wouldn't be able to see it for long enough to check

Actually, I think this could be quite useful - if you set it to permanently read 30 over [the limit | actual speed], people MIGHT be less likely to pull out in front of you, hog the middle lane etc...etc...
