Origin Blue Fault

I purchased an Origin Blue today and I have a couple of problems with it.

Firstly the power connection keeps cutting on and off.

Secondly the back light on the display doesn't work but the buttons do light up.

Anyone experienced similar problems?

No. But I've heard that there are some quality concerns. One retailer (apparently) reports a 65% failure rate. (I assume that means a 65% return rate - although that sounds way too high to be completely believable).

I've had mine for about 3 weeks and haven't had one problem with it. I suggest you return it and ask for a replacement. It seems likely that the retailer will be used to Blue i returns.
