Driving home last night through the contra flow on Sevenoaks by-pass, car behind me was flashed by GATSO and he was doing no more than 45 in a 40 limit (I don't think it flashed me as I was beyond the road markings when it first flashed). Kent police are notoriously hot on speeding through roadworks but thats making things very strict.
Any thoughts?

Some of you might also be interested to know that the M4 J2 town-bound camera is set relatively high, at around 60 mph in a 40 zone. At least, that's what ummm err a friend was doing last night when he went past on a bike going the other way
It's a shame really, the road wasn't too wet and that looong left-hander can be safely taken at 80-90 as you peel off for the slip road entry.

Why isn't the A21 dual carraigeway throughout ?
Even, why isn't the A24 also dual carraigeway throughout ?
Save a lot of lives, and in the case of the A21, make sure
that Hastings isn't the backwater it currently is.
Which industrialist in his right mind
would site a factory at Hastings ?
Hard to get anywhere from there.
