How long does it take

Several months ago my picky was taken by a camera on the M42 going through roadworks.

I recieved the notice requesting driver details and duly replied but added the following ( slightly edited )

I believe that the ‘offence’ was recorded by one of the government cash machines – But at Coleshill ?.
(the location of the camera is very unacurate)
I was driving my car on the M42 on the day and time in question.

I did require more information about this offence but as the person who filled out the form did not include a real telephone number – 01203 641111 does not exist this was not possible without resorting to a lot of mail.
I did write several days after receiving this letter but with no contact name – only an unreadable signature it has obviously gone astray.
(As the phone number on the form was unreadable id DID genuinly write).
Also I have been unable to include any reference number or name and number of the officer dealing as the person who filled the form out could not be bothered to include them.
(Space existed on the form but details were not included)

Can you also furnish me with details of the ‘alleged’ offence.

I have just checked my PC and the form and letter were sent back on the 28th of March - SO FAR SOD ALL

Have I got away with it.???????????.

sounds like they bineded it m8 thay often do if you play em up

do hold me two it as im not a hundred persent shaw but i think they have to do you with in 6 months

so its my guess you can forget it now

i had much the same as you played em up with the nip then they sent a fixed penalty notice
i sent that back and told em to put it where the sun dont shine

andd would see em in court and i would be pleading not guilty and would take as far as the europon court

plus uif i lost i would do the days before paying a fine
that was 8 months and nothing from the tossers

NIP within 14 days, then the officer has a 6 months to get the matter sorted, after that its statute barred.

Oh shit means I have to wait till October then.

I have argued the toss over a 50 in a 40 scenario, and got to 5 months, 2 weeks. Then got an invite to court, unless I was pleading not-guilty.

SO I sent off the paperwork, clearing indicating not guilty. Case was read out on court in my absence, and I get a stupid letter asking what my plea was !!!

End result, I am due to see the beak in a months time. Nearly 10 months since I allegedly sped.

I don't care, I have mitigation, and I am gonna claim expenses off the old Bill for wasting my time, and I will love making them suffer.
