How do we get in touch with Tesla to get our £200. Can’t see a phone number in the app.

All that excitement got the good old ticker going for a short while.

I ordered. I guess given that Tesla use Santander they won't honor the cheaper prices

You can message them in the app against the new order.

As per their t&c's they'll refund in case of a pricing error.

Of course they won’t honour. No contract has been formed.

Musk up to his usual tricks of taking a load of deposits and marking them down as sales for his earnings calls for the stock price

I’ve reported the whole thing to the advertising agency - not that they’ll do anything

Do you have to go through with the order first?? Ie complete all the delivery task like the finance application, before you have the option to contact them?

Hi all,

I've got a lease coming at some point in August, with a due date at the dealer of 01/08, from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.

Been running some insurance quotes over the past week and all of a sudden prices have literally doubled, from £400 to £800.

I still have a couple of the £400 quotes locked in, would you recommend taking out the insurance now whilst it's cheaper, or is there something or some reason that I should avoid doing that?

No, í’d do it now. Generally insurance is free cancellation, or at worst a small admin fee, prior to commencement of cover.

I've just spoken to Tesla, there will be a mass cancellation for orders placed at the wrong prices, there will be an SMS and email coming round today. That will give instructions on how to request a refund for the deposit through their app, which will then take 14days to process.

The £200 should be a nonrefundable gullibility tax.

Maybe they should refund £400 for wasting everyones time, or trying (if they were) to influence their order book figures.

A blind man could see it was a pricing error, there would be no influence on their order books as you don't count a finance or leasing deal until it's been approved for funding
