Apologies as this must be one of the most "noob" questions ever posted on PH.

I'm being treated to a Bruce Springsteen concert at Wembley later this month. I'm staying very close to Euston. I intend to get to Wembley by Tube, aiming to get there by 6. I'm assuming the concert finishes at 11 and I will be getting the Tube back to Euston. I assume that the Tube will be jampacked on the way back but I also assume that taxis will be as rare as hen's teeth ?

Is getting to and from Wembley by tube feasible/practicable ? I assume it will be given that millions of people do it every year.

is there anything I need to be aware of?

Sorry if this sounds vague, the last concert i went to was in 1991.

You’ll be absolutely fine getting a train back to Euston, just get the met straight to Euston Square and walk it.

It’ll be busy but totally manageable.

I’m doing the same thing, staying near Goodge St.

Did it last time he was at Wembley and it’s busy but absolutely fine. As said tube to Euston and then walk.

Having spent sometime travelling to Wembley for the Spurs games .and suffering the hour soft shoe shuffle along Wembley Way to Wembley Park Tube, we found that it was a lot quicker to get back to London from Wembley Stadium Station .Esp if your exit is near to the station.* Chiltern Rail do ( or did) a great job of Crowd segregation esp on the trains to the north but the kondon trains seemed to be as one was full, another rolled up.And about 20m walk to Euston along Marylebone road

For the footbal we were in the SW corner and right by the exit, as we were out of the gound in 30 sec . our best time was 5 mins from Whistle to getting a service to South Ruislip and home to Bracknell in under the hour

The tube station is able to (sort of) manage 80,000 people getting out of a football game all at once, although it can be a bit unpleasant at times.

I agree with everything written above, but also suggest going to a bar or pub for twenty minutes afterwards for one last drink if you don’t like crowds.

On a similar-ish note. Anywhere recommended to park a car and get to from Wembley for a gig on a Sunday night? We were going to train it and stay over but a change in work means I need to drive back afterwards.

There are apps and websites that let you rent people’s parking spaces. I can’t remember which one I used, but I got a parking space 8 minutes walk from the stadium for £16 for the football playoffs recently.

Stanmore is the usual answer. Large car park and just 10 minutes on the Jubilee line to Wembley Park. Benefit is is that most will be travelling south when going home but you’ll be going on a northbound train so will get on quite easily. Not far from the M1 and then to the M25.

If Stanmore is full, try Canons Park.

Did it this weekend, £30 to park on a drive which was a 10 minute walk from the stadium.

Best thing is, when leaving, all the local bus lanes are open for cars with clear signage detailing this, yet no one uses them!

I can help out with that if you let me know when it is.

Just don’t stand near the front as he has a recent habit of unintentional crowd surfing.

Cheers all. It’s for this Sunday. Was thinking to leave the car somewhere in the morning and pick it up after the gig.

Yes, this is one way. Also, you can get the overground from Wembley Stadium (closer than Wembley Park) to Marylebone and either walk to Euston (15 -20 mins) or jump on a bus.

Or, to avoid the crowds, a longer walk from the stadium to Wembley Central station (15 mins), and the train from there goes into Euston. This would be my choice.
