So what have you done with your Aston today? (Vol. 2)
Discussion
I started a thread earlier this year or last December about a prospective euro road trip.
Well, after much pondering I seem to be about halfway along a winding route to Prague.
A couple of photos from the day
Currently tucked up near Heidelberg. It amazing how easily these cars eat up the mileage. Even roof down for about 80% of the day (mostly 25°-30°) it’s possible to make progress over ~500 miles without being completely catatonic at the end.

Had a good drive down to visit Aston Installations, near Tewkesbury, who replaced the sun-damaged gloss black trim on my DB11. Excellent service from the outstanding team there, as always. Amy's new dog is adorable, too.
I believe they have an open day this Sunday and are expecting some very interesting vehicles to be there.

Enjoy your trip basher , looks epic.
Thank you. My first Autobahn experiences yesterday and today.
Lively.
Near side windscreen washer is a casualty of the journey, but what’s a road trip without the use of tape to hold things in?
Car tucked away in a Prague basement now until return trip, starting next Friday.

Spent the day at Aston installations and this happened
Thanks to James and the guys and girls for a great job and their hospitality!
What did you have done? I’ll likely be taking a trip down there in the not too distant future, starting to think the CarPlay upgrade will be well worth it and tempted to have front and reverse cameras too. Thanks to James and the guys and girls for a great job and their hospitality!

Nice to have CarPlay in the Aston..
Guess I can finally post in this thread….
Collected my new (to me) ‘19 DB11 V12 with the AMR upgrade. First Aston for me and I’m totally smitten with it!
Anyway, I guess what I’ve done with my Aston today is rediscover what wheel-spin in second and third gear is - not had that for a while (and yes it’s got brand new Michelin PS4s on)!

Thanks! I swore I’d never have another black car and didn’t really consider a tan interior as an option. But then I’ve always wanted a black and tan car and even had a Defender on order in that spec so really this is almost my ideal spec.
In the advert photos it looked horrific; in the flesh it’s utterly stunning!

I'm not a fan of black but that does look stunning. The hint of the tan does lift it ( and possibly the setting ) Enjoy!Collected my new (to me) ‘19 DB11 V12 with the AMR upgrade. First Aston for me and I’m totally smitten with it!

Well, all good things must come to an end. It’s been a breakfast in Germany, lunch in Belgium and dinner (ok a quick coffee) in France kind of day. Hopefully just a pint in Britain to round it all off in an hour or so.
What wonderful fun these cars are!

And a brief rest before the final leg home

Little drive out to the Haynes Motor Museum Breakfast Club meeting. good Sausage bap and coffee, decent mix of interesting cars, then back home before it pissed it down with rain
Parked up opposite was a Classic 1980's Vantage, that had left before I could get a pic of it. A good morning out would recommend this meeting if you're in the area.
