These look absolutely stunning and I've always wanted one, but never quite got around to buying one, so reading this hasn't helped!

I'm sure that an Evo of this era feels fast, but are they actually that fast compared to the plethora of 300+ HP hot hatches commonly available now?
New cars bore me to tears, there's such a lack of driver engagement if you can't spend £100,000 plus.

Sure a 335D could probably walk away in a straight line, but.. sleep
Totally agree with you. Your car looks lovely mate. Fellow white Evo owner here. Mines getting to the point of needing some serious cash investments but still love it.

I think they’re now at the point where it’s ok to financially dote on them, in that you’ll see some of the money back!

Parts, now that’s another story. More and more going ‘no longer available’!

After 21 years of driving Evo 6's, I'm now selling and moving onto pastures new, should my GSR/TME/RS mongrel be of interest to anyone.

Hi!

I’ve recently done a 2k mile journey to the south of France and back via the Alps (from the Frejus tunnel to Nice) in an FK8 Civic Type R and I was truly blown away by how good it was at every part of the journey!

Motorway cruising was a big surprise and so were all the controls and ability in the Alps and it was plenty fast enough standard power but I didn’t think about selling my 6!!

I know you’ve loved this car, I hope you don’f regret selling it!

I'm being tight lipped, there is just one specific car in mind. It's a vehicle that is modified to a similar degree as the Evo, but if it doesn't work out I will simply keep the Evo.

I will regret it, I know I will. It's a fantastic machine, one capable of making me grin like not many can. But, the replacement is / will be just as wonderful.

Hi

Ok so you’ve spent some time with the possible replacement?

Enough to have really convinced you?

Good luck with the sale mate! Looking forward to seeing what's next.

Been thinking on and off about potentially selling mine since I've done what I wanted with it, and still can't bring myself to cut it up and cage it...but genuinely don't know what I would replace it with.

they are just fantastic cars and regarding vs current hot hatches - evo's can absolutely hold their own on the road!

good luck with the sale!

I've been lucky to have done a handful of track days with it, and a few hundred road miles, yes! biggrin

It's almost irreplaceable isn't it, there's just such a void of anything interesting in the price bracket, with that much feedback.

I sold the Evo to a couple of guys in the USA, who imported it earlier this year. Unfortunately, they are needing to move it on already, but it’ll be interesting to see what it goes for!
