Access to live Italian news being shut down

I previously watched RAI news live via Youtube, but a week or two ago that stopped and a "you can't watch this in your country" type message popped up.

So I went to Sky News. That lasted a week. Now I cannot get that either.

I can now only get some sort of fringe live news channel.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening, and how to resolve it?

I've considered a VPN, but there is a cost attached obvs. If I were to do that, Nord?

It seems that Revolut offers it. I am a Revolut customer, but to upgrade to the version with free Nord appears to be £8 pcm. So not THAT free.

Can you post a link to one of the things that you can no longer watch? I can't see a Rai News live feed on YouTube and the Sky News live feed on YT appears to work fine for me.

Yes I get the same message however with surfshark vpn connected to Italy it works no probs.

Yep it’s revolut

I do indeed pay for the account, not for the VPN but for other reasons as I use it as my main account when at my house abroad and the added benefits are worth it

The revolut access allows upto 10 devices( iirc) to be added so it’s great for family sharing

I can see Sky News, though not via that link which says Private. I was hoping Tor would work for Rai, but it seems not. I guess a VPN solution will be the way to go.
