Last night's mixed gyro:

Can't believe it's taken me 43 years on this planet to discover how much better wraps are with the chips in them rather than separate.

Could be useful knowledge for Protoras next week smile

The van is rotten ,it was ok when I got it , I must work too hard, I may take it round the back to my garage and give it a blast with the air line

Sausage and egg McMuffin, it was more about the location. Bloody London Bridge McDs has no seating, take away only.

Couple from the weekend.

Saturday's post golf Chinese feast, eaten whilst watching more golf then falling asleep for a couple of hours waiting for the wife to finish her night out. Rather than the salty box went for salty ribs, Sweet N Sour Pork Cantonese Style and Egg Fried Rice.

Glorious.

Then spent yesterday afternoon relaxing with a few beers and the in laws, so kebab was required. Large Mixed Lamb (kofta, doner and another meat I've forgotten the name of) with Chilli, chips, salad and pitta.

But concerned when ordering as it was from one of the money laundering venues next to Couture in Stafford but shouldn't have been - decent meat and just the right level of spice in the Chilli.

Question for Eski….

I am in your neck of the woods in Cardiff on Saturday. I remember from my student days decades ago that when we went out in Cardiff we would go to chippy alley afterwards for Welsh chicken curry and chips. All these years later are they still open and is Dorothy’s or Tony’s the place these days?

Our favourite haunt was The Taurus Steakhouse. Would let us in at 2 in the morning after the casino drunk
