I was idly browsing Lease Loco a couple of days ago and there were some good deals on the Corolla Estate at that kind of spend. Just made a mental note and moved on, but might be worth a dig by you, given what you say?
mainly for school runs and odd couple of visits to the lakes.
We are a family of 5 so the corolla might be good. where was the deal?
ideally didn't want to spend more than £300

wasn't really fussed about electric, my company does have SS with octopus but the cars are expensive. cheapest half decent electric was kona and thats £490 inc insurance, maintenance for 2 years
This one, I think. Sub £300 for 8k pa, 1 month down

thanks for the link, forgot to mention i'm looking at 2 year lease.

Can anyone confirm the mpg on this? and how it compares with the qashqai?

Never had a lease before so just weighing up to spend around £10-12k and just pick up a 2014-2015 BMW 320d instead

Depends whether you want electric or not and how you use it. PH could make a fortune having an AI bot to help choosing deals.
i had a 2016 leaf in the past for a few years. We do about 8-10k miles a year. Not sure if it works better for us tbh

Ideally just wanted something less than £300 a month for 2 years

Thanks. That looks tempting. My wife has a Zoe @ 290pm and this @ 3yr 8k is £290pm, so a straight swap. She wants to get away from EV.

You're welcome - funny how clearly the odd pearl sticks out amongst the sand smile

I didn’t hear back from CVL on the Eletre, I guess they just had too many applications to process 🤣.

Hell of a deal though- well done to all who got in

Definitely! I was having a mooch around London a week ago and went in just to playfully sit in it. Couldn’t imagine for a moment it would be (reasonably) affordable!

Thankfully managed to grab one of the Eletre deals from CVL. They were great to deal with. That’s 2 great deals in the last 7 months. I managed to grab the ID Buzz deal just before Christmas.
It was the perfect deals and the perfect time. Definitely a case of chasing the deal and not the car. I did not expect to be ordering a Lotus Eletre that’s for sure.
Learnt a lot from the Buzz deal where I ended up having to go for an orange buzz that I then wrapped the top half grey because I slept on the deal and was left with limited choice and still nearly missed out. Jumped straight on the Eletre deal.

Eletre deal is amazing. 17k ish for 8k and 24 months on a 107k car. I’m hoping that I get the chance to extend as much as possible. Have not seen the car in person but test driving tomorrow so hopefully as impressed as the deal!

Keep us posted on the Test Drive if you can…..even on here maybe https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
so not to take up too much of the lease deals thread

The electric Astra seems to have got cheaper again 1 down and 23 x £253, on a 2 yr, 5k.

Hanging my nose over this. It’s the estate I’d prefer though and they’re not ‘on offer’.

Good deal for someone though 👍🏻

Only thing putting me off is it would be my 1st electric and not sure on the whole wall charger situation

I bagged this deal, and with metallic paint thrown in, having just missed out on the estate which was my preference.

I ended up buying an astra EV brand new for £21k. First new car I've bought. Not sure if it'll end up better than leasing (I've leased for 12 years now), but I'll be doing 20k a year in it so if I keep for 3/4 years it should work out OK

I had a Leaf 2016 few years back and I am with Octopus energy provider, they had a deal with charger. So about 3-4 years with the grant it cost me around £550 I think.
i sold the Leaf last year and sold the charger for about £250

I'm not sure about the real world range on the Astra, if its 200+ in the summer then it sounds pretty good. Of course if its 200+ in the summer it will probably be less than 200 in the winter

Hi, what's the range like in the summer and winter?

Thanks

Interesting - I'm mulling a top spec used Niro / Kona at a similar price for a similar use-case as you. I'm figuring anything more than worthless after 3yrs will be a bonus.

The lease monthly for 20K/yr looks pretty bonkers. Was hoping for a reasonable salary sacrifice deal, but doesn't like the firm are going to go for it now.
