Anyone ever won anything on that "wheel of fortune" thing you get to spin after you enter a meter reading? I use it twice a month for many years and not a bean so far!

Does anybody know if Octopus enforce the exit charges on legacy Shell contracts? I took out a fix back at the start of the year that seemed like a good idea at the time but now, er, doesn’t. From what I can see, Octopus don’t charge for exiting their own fixes early.

Pretty sure it tells you if you check your account tariff section. Octopus sometimes do have exit fees on their own fixes, they did last year when prices were especially volatile.

I mean contract is contract I doubt they will have changed your terms unless they changed your product, so check what it says on your account

All the time, always win a few pence when I spin - I think it auto wins every month if you use it. Just off to spin it again now as been a while....

Odd. My wheel of fortune when I submit my meter readings has like £5/£1/£0 etc I always get £0

I have never seen a points option.

Probably you're not signed up to octoPlus, which is their points system. Savings sessions etc now reward in points rather than direct cash.

Heads up for agile users- I’ve got negative energy prices on agile from 14.30 to 15.30 today.
Today in general is very cheap.

I have the same along with an hour completely free and less than 5p for most of the day outside of that.

Also had a power up yesterday for another free hour so the car is getting very full...

Yep, on it like a car bonnet. Doing all the laundries, charging the EV, switching the immersion on. Bosh. WFH FTW.

It certainly is -

And that comes after two days of free electricity of 2 1/2 hours each day due to being in a 'Power-Up' region.

I can't recall the last time I actually paid to charge the car.

For users who are on standard go and the regular gas’s tariff. Is it a simple calculation on working out what’s the cheaper approach to heating water?? Option 1 - heating the water via an smart immersion during the new 00:30-05:30 window or option 2 - use the gas boiler to heat?

Had a letter yesterday saying that some accounts will be farmed out to EDF.

Anyone know what’s going on?
