And I thought my Ender 3 frivolous and was taking up space!

Mind you a mate of mine has 3 CR10’s, and 2 prusa clones, plus a resin printer and another on the way! He also got into a fight with Peleton over stuff he produced. laugh

I have the same setup as SoP (P1S with an AMS) and the footprint isn't really much over an Ender3. Though if you have an additional 2 AMS (you can run up to 4) then yeah its gonna take up all the space!

Still can't quite believe the footprint of the XYZ Pro was so huge compared to the P1S for the same bed size.
Him indoors wasn't bothered about the AMS but I insisted, glad I did really as thats makes such a difference.

I'm not a gamer but, based on the little knowledge I have, Sonic is a hedgehog. Life size, that would be about 6, maybe 8, inches long.

How do you define "life size" for an animated character??

It is with a sense of incredible pride and honour that I humbly submit my purchase for consideration:

A 2012 Panasonic 103inch plasma tv...mounted on a rolling platform since it weighs over 200kg.

Just arrived yesterday.

Wife is not speaking to me as the monolithic temple to power consumption is literally blocking most of our little lounge room.

Photos to follow.

If it was anyone else, this would get a lot more attention. As it's SoP, it's sop.

Nice!

I had an option to buy about a dozen if those at a (legitimate) knock down price, just after the London Olympics I think. I don't regret passing, but they are fabulous screens.

The 152" was insane.

I hate to fact check you on this but with my nerdy cap on the screen weighs 220kg and if you have the original stand it all goes up to 350kg.

How’s your back?

How’s the floor?

Are you using this as a heating element for the winter?

I stand in awe of your frivolity and like all others am giggling in anticipation of your photos!!!!

Lordy, I still have my 2006 Pioneer 43" plasma I purchased from new in a spare room; it causes a spike in the local 'leccy demand and you have to watch it in shorts and t-shirt all year round hehe

My Pioneer plasma has been relegated to the study and only used occasionally when something interesting is on during the working day. My electricity bill has gone down considerably.
