Have you ever replaced the auxiliary battery in the boot? I am not sure exactly how the two interact but the auxiliary one is much smaller. I had to replace the aux one on mine but didn't need to do the main battery. Can't remember what the symptoms were I'm afraid; not much help I know!

I've had the oil and all filters changed this week plus the new battery. The battery prices are ridiculous....the online guys were about £100 less so I bought the battery for less than my mechanic could from his motor factors and he fitted it as it isn't a easy position almost under the edge of the windscreen and being so heavy.
If yours is the same as mine it's a stop-start spec battery and therefore huge. They seem to fit them whether the car in question has stop-start or not. Mine doesn't.

We're contemplating one of these, my one worry from too much internet seraching is rear subframe corrosion, have you suffered any issues? And any idea what the general consensus is on this topic?
