If they are advertising 124 miles of range what is the range really like on a freezing cold February morning? I couldn't even guarantee I'd get to drive over to my sister's and go out for a meal as the range anxiety would actually be fulfilled.

Even at £199 a month these will struggle. Only folk going for these will be for a unique number of commuters that have access.to a.home charging point and another car. Why did Mazda even bother thinking these were worth making?
Used MX30 are selling for around £12K on AT. There's loads of them.

I am hoping to pick up something new on a pcp this month but not really found any great deals. Ideally looking at a mid size SUV so x3, Q5, XC60 etc but dealers haven’t really offered anything worth biting. Hoping for some movement maybe this week for quarter end.

XC60s were probably the best offer but nothing suitable in stock anywhere at the moment with 17 week order times. There are some Q5 but APR isn’t great and the X3 are mostly 30e hybrids but the range on them isn’t great.

Might end up keeping my Kodiaq.
A used X3 30e has 30mile range. The new X3 30e has a 50mile range.

Depending your useage they should be spot on and are essentially going to give a per mile cost of around 70mpg long term which is pretty great for a car of this size.

It looks like Audi have a had a load more E-trons through the dealer network. There are quite a few currently for sale with main dealers, with a 2 year warranty and free home charger.

Figures range between £270-300/month with £1,000 deposit over 4 years. This is for a 2020/2021 model.

I've had mine 6 months now and as a daily it's absolutely fantastic. I'll be picking up another one when my PCP term is up in 12 months.

Hell of a lot of car for the money.

That is quite tempting, what's the actual range of one of these as I'm sure I read a while ago that they were horribly inefficient for an EV.

I have a 50 model (same as above) and I get between 170-190miles in the current temps of 15-20 degrees. In the winter it's down to 130-150 miles. Depends on your usage of course as to whether it would be suitable.

You can get the 55 model which will do over 200 miles, but they're a bit more expensive.

Thank you, that would be perfectly fine. the furthest I ever go is Oulton Park which is 150 mile round trip and usually in mild weather so the range would be fine.

Anything longer distance I tend to just jump in someone else's car!

Tempting offers on Etron.
What are the clauses of an earlier exit than 4 years? Seems that 4 years is long time and EV market will be changed alot.
Also, how to best estimate the insurance and tax calculation for this type of vehicle?

Take it over 2 years for an extra £30 a month.

This.

Take it over the 2 years, be covered by the 2 year warranty and then hand it back with no cost, even if it’s worth £3.87. Treat it like a lease.

I’m doing the same with mine. Got it on an 18-month PCP, and it’s already worth £10k less than I “bought” it for 6 months ago. Makes no difference to me as I’ll just hand it back at the end of the term.

Brindley Honda have the eNY:1 back on offer, not quite as good as the March deals of course, but £269 with no deposit is not bad.

Not had a call yet from the local dealer, so unsure if others will be following suit.

Limited numbers available. Will post again tomorrow with an update.

Oh. Here we go again, it's been 4 months smile
Honda only shows that it is an £80 quid saving per month.
I already have the Ariya, otherwise would have considered that one (the Elegance).
It does have a worse battery/range than Nissan's one but that's about it...

Just to add to the thread,

Used ID3s are very cheap now on PCP. About £150 a month.
Thanks @pacenotes, I picked up a used ID3 on PCP yesterday Having leased for the last 3.5 years, and having the protection of a full warranty, the Approved Used deal that VW are running was enough to make me look at PCP'ing a second hand car. Same as Audi - 2 years warranty, 2 years service, 2 years MOT cover, 2years breakdown. Admittedly there was some budget creep and bad man maths but I landed on a huge spec 58KWH, local to me for £190 a month plus £3k down for 3 years, including the third year warrant. Amortised to £270 a month, which is £20 more than my leased T-roc without the £200 fuel bill and the £50 excess mileage a month. So in my view, £230 cheaper a month. Drives lovely and refreshingly powerful after a 1.0 tsi

The first super cheap ones they had in March were black only (the only free colour) at £199 for 2 years, other colours were £225. So £249 for 5 years (and I expect it still comes with 5 yrs servicing and a 5 yr warranty) is still a great deal. smile

Any car that’s through Audi and is part of the “Approved Used Plus” scheme.

Update - this is not a "no deposit AND £269" deal, it's effectively one or the other.

Without deposit, it's £369 (based on just 5k per year) x 48

So, nothing really special I'm afraid.

did you speak to Brindlay? their website ad certainly more expensive and doesn't match their autotrader ad.

However dmkeith have both autotrader and their own website with £249 deposit, £249 per month x 47. Tempting...

On the VW ID5 used PCP deals, how much extra is it to extend the warranty from 2 to 3 years?

Can you extend the warranty?
