Agreed, looks like a classic "Oh I'll ignore the ABS warning to the next MOT"
Just the sort of prat to put £50 tyres on their car.

All perfectly true, but he really shouldn't have needed ABS or decent tyres to be able to stop at a give way line that was visible from some distance and presumably signposted!

Of course, but once he's panicked and hit the brakes it's over, clearly never learned to brake without ABS in an emergency (which will be really common I'm sure these days)

jeepers, thats huge.
HGV driver must be in a bad way surely, a car hitting the a/b pillars, on the drivers side, at speed frown

edit for update:
In an update this morning, a North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Thankfully, it was minor injuries. Police are investigating.”

Imagine the shock of the lorry driver who would likely be completely oblivious until he was hit by a flying car and caravan. eek
Speaking of the latter I wonder how it arrived at the roundabout carrying so much speed.

That's a 50mph downhill. He must have completely missed the roundabout as he hit it at that sort of speed.

It's a long downhill straight to the roundabout, on a 70 mph road. But there is plenty of signage, neither the roundabout nor the other slowing traffic is invisible and there is 300m + of 'slow down you fool' yellow lines across the carriageway. Looks like absolute idiocy.

However, video oddly starts with car already at the roundabout almost as if intended to be misleading; perhaps something happened immediately before? Already out of control?

It's not a 70 for some time prior to this, assuming I'm right that caravan man was going E-W

I'd put money on distracted driver, seems odd the footage starts as the caravan is taking off.

That is E-W, But even if that is in the 50mph section it is still a road on which it is very easy to go a lot faster, (and get nicked for it!)

A very bad place to get distracted, for sure.
