I got Swiss citizenship the other week.
My youngest just announced he'll probably get married next year as it'll speed up his citizenship.
Young love these days...
I’m just helping my lad get his Irish citizenship through his grandfather ( my dad) with a view to getting an Irish passport, easy enough . I'm €290 in so far!
No talk of marriage though.

Impressive, very impressive, in fact a magnificent 10.000001 on the old Triv-o-meter!!! clap

I've just been playing my music so loud in Ivor that it's made my ears ring.
Haaaaaaaaang on a minute there bobbers!
I’m understanding that anything over the magic Ten(10) on the old Triv-o- meter was needing a survey, study, etude etc and then voting at midnight at chez parlitrivton white smoke n all.
bow
You are quite correct Magoo, I shall organise the study, as we already have a couple of number crunching, IT literate, computer nerds available in the shape of spikeyhead and Byker, the survey is easy to do with some paper and crayons, if I knew what an etude was I'd probably know what to do with it, and the midnight voting can take place in the residents lounge, not sure what to do for the white smoke though, I suppose we could ask Bomma if he's still got some of those phosphorus grenades.

What about that ‘Turkish Bong’ that we all used to have so much fun with at the crazy Trivs club? That used belch out a bit of white stuff by the end of a sesh!

Being in the audience at a John Otway concert, belting out House of the Rising Sun in company with several hundred like-minded strangers, i found to be a surprisingly moving experience.

You or him, Dicky?

My last outing to see/hear him was in Oxford and Wild Willy Barrett was doing the honours with him. That dates me!

Really Free is such a good song. To ask his fans to vote for a song to blag to No.1 in the pop charts was a bad idea.

Bunsen Burner.

I ask you.

He'd have had more luck with House of the Rising Sun or a page out of the phone book.

I am in my 50s and only found out that the "blood" that comes out of a cooked steak is not blood. It is a protein called Myoglobin that contains iron, similar to blood, and it is why is is red. What!
Apparently steaks do not contain blood!

I feel like I have been lied to.

I feel like I should give you a Triv-o-meter reading for that, but I also feel the urge to run off and check that fact on tinternet!!

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherecoffee
I'm tired.
It's entirely my own fault, had a couple of drinks and went to bed later than usual.

It's looking like it's going to be another beautiful day out there, blue skies and sunshine, 5 hrs at work, back and legs gym session, see my dad and then home eventually.

I did indeed fact check Nismocat's early post, and lo and behold he is indeed quite correct!!! bow

Good morning everyone.
Also looks to be a fine day here, just a tad cooler by a couple of centipedes.

I shall attempt to dig out that pine tree root this morning with my trusty Komatsu. Discussion has taken place about planting in its place three different coloured Buddleia bushes.
So just got to find some and probably take out a bank loan to buy them!

I’ve only set myself just the one task today as it’s been a very busy week and old Magoo is feeling it a bit .

Good luck all

Fout.

Morning all

Another day of sorting out some software to do some sums before the weekend commences.
