But mainly, Gavin and Andrea. WTAF?

Oh yes, and Matt Hancock - tt
Pretty decent list on the whole, but the bold bit is catergorically untrue. There is a coincidental surname correlation, but it is absolutely a coincidence. The real Lords appointment we should be investigating, in terms of risks to National Security, is Evegeny Lebedev, son of a KGB officer.

Had enough of the Tories.

I don't see Starmer revolutionising anything. But I do expect to see a reduction in sleaze & corruption, and a Government less concerned about saving "big dog" from internal party coups and more concerned with running the country.
This.
Nailed it.

Boring and competent will be a huge improvement. Hell, mere incompetence would be a huge improvement.
Yep, we need a period of beige government where they just get on with it without too much drama, no dog whistle politics, no corruption and a hint of competence.

Not expecting everything to be fixed in the first parliament especially after the st show of managing public services for the last 14 years but hopefully the foundations of proper public services will be laid. It will be a tough job as virtually every sector has been hollowed out but we'll see.

I don't think anyone is expecting unicorns and rainbows once Labour is elected as it will take time and more than one parliament to undo the mess they'll inherit.

Probably just got confused with his side piece, who did make the HoL. And in fairness, she was young enough to be his daughter.

I feel quite ashamed that I've besmirched his otherwise exemplary character.

I am voting Labour because I don't want to risk a tory mp (which is unlikeiy).

However, if my labour candidate was Starmer himself, I would vote independent, in order to put politics in turmoil.

If there was a "none of the above" candidate, I think I'd vote for them.

Tories are corrupt to the core, and a complete waste of space.

voting labour should hopefully wipe them out, so new blood closer to the centre ground will join and make them electable again in 4/8 years.

The right of the party can fk off to reform.

Sound list. Not just the army that has been trashed by the tories - navy, airforce and security services as well. The defence of the country needs sorting and has rightly been made a priority by Labour.
I don't think you mentioned Liz Truss enough times.

100% this but

Except NIMBY Kier Starmer was a against HS2, war on motorists is likely to get worse under Labour, see Wales, London, Bristol, and investment in the country, labour will carry on the Tory policies, they will only invest when they achieve growth, how that will happen???

Then you have the green agenda, .the political correct LGBT.... issues, immigration and people like Angela Rayner and others like her

Conservatives deserve a kicking, but scared of the alternative

I'll probably be worse off under Labour. Will they improve things materially? Do they have the ability and public finances to do that? Possibly not.

But they will certainly not be motivated by self interest. Remember "Operation Save Big Dog"?, the naked interests of "the party", or the naked corruption. I think the conservatives were guilty of vandalism, ultimately. They've trashed the country.

They deserve an electroal wipeout. So, as a punishment alone, I'll be happy if they are trashed.

Retribution. It matters. And that’s what the conservatives have to feel.

I only have one question - do you believe things will get better under another Tory government??

Look back over the last decade has there been any highlights where you thing dang they did a good job there - I can't

I'd like a wipe out but I'll settle for Liz Truss being given her P45 and hope that she never gets back again

Pretty well all lords elevations since the golden deceiver was elected by the UK's largest collection of animated corpses are extremely dubious, from his own brother on down to the barely sentient SPADs ennobled by Truss.

Not the only reason but to ensure the demise of this particular Tory government is certainly up there.

To ensure one outgoing SNP grifter (the notorious nose-picking “KitKat” consumer Mhanki Black) isn’t replaced by another incoming one.

So, tactical.
