Ed Harris in Just Cause, he is in it quite briefly compared to the other stars but is quite chilling

Bravest scene.

A slightly longer version which shows the set up.

Tom Cruise as Vincent in Collateral or Tom Cruise as Lestat in Interview with a Vampire

He really does play an excellent baddie

Never seen the film but have seen the ABC scene. Classic.
I came here to say this, and Don Logan.
GGGR is quite an amazing film in terms of it’s legendary cast, and also the fact it is set in one room, but the monologue from Baldwin is legendary.

Here’s a cameo by Ingrid Bergman in Murder On The Orient Express. An absolute masterclass in acting.

I know it'll be considered horribly low-brow by comparison to some here, but I still absolutely love the scene in Casino Royale where Vesper and Bond meet on the train for the first time.

I always think that "the baddies" are the best actors.
It must take a huge amount of skill to convince people that you are pure evil like Alan Rickman as The Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood or are terrifying like Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs or disturbed like Joaquin Phoenix in Joker.
I'd describe any one of those three as brilliant in almost anything, but particularly so when they are "the baddies"
And then you have the Bond films with laughable baddies (except Lars Mikkelsen/whatever his name is).

Evening Folks,

Here’s one that popped into my head.

Javier Bardem just about robs every scene in No County for Old Men.
And he stood out in a minor role as a regretful Mexican drug lord in "Collateral", which I think was his first mainstream English-language role. Almost unrecognisable compared to later.

Noooooo way!!!

I knew i recognized his voice.

Crap in Skyfall though.

I'm with you on this one. An almost perfect scene, from the moment she throws her bag down and enters the shot. She was perfectly cast.

More Bond Baddies like Vesper required.

Not as low-brow as my Meg Ryan offering.

Michael Wincott in The Crow. "Quick impression for ya. Caw, caw, bang, fk I'm dead!"

Robert Shaw in Jaws, the U.S.S Indianapolis speech.

Another monologue, Mia Goth in Pearl.

Favourite actor: Robert De Niro

Memorable performance: Mean Streets plays a despicable c*** who owes money to the mob to perfection.

Best scene: Heat - driving to the airport with g/f beside him you can read his thoughts through facial expression alone, Wayne Groe on his mind and ruminating on whether to complete one final job.

Following the recent sad loss of Donald Sutherland, it made me think, he really did steal the show amongst a very strong cast in JFK - and only for a few minutes on screen. The also tragically late John Candy was very memorable in the same.

I’m talking about actors who pop up in films and absolutely nail it for a few minutes - and leave a lasting impression.

Gary Oldman in True Romance is one.

Also Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in the same movie. Rare.

Hopper again in Apocalypse Now.

Apocalypse now is currently on 4, and the film about the making of.

Oh! Robert Duval… Another.
Gary Oldman was the first name to pop into my mind, but for Leon.

Gary Oldman's Winston Churchill in 'Our Darkest Hour' was superb.

Some great suggestions so far.

I nominate Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction.

Spine tingling.
