Why would the price have dropped that much? It isn’t ULEZ compliant but I’d assume that can’t explain all of the price drop. The tax is a not unreasonable 345 quid a year. That said, the area it’s located in is a bit rough!
Thanks

Best engine for that car by miles as well, the NASP ones are too weedy, the six pots have a fragile 4 speed auto, and the D5 is a proper old school cancer chucker.2.5T petrol.

The D5 is a cracking diesel. Its actually a nice engine, makes a nice noise, characterful, quick enough and frugal. But I'd want a t5!!
I agree it's a good diesel, and I quite like the dirty 5 pot noise, but an old Euro 3 is a proper soot chucker of the old school and 163bhp through a cuckbox isn't really enough to move a barge with any authority. The later 185bhp engine was much nicer to use ime.Inspire said:

If the app is just searching previous ads, couldn’t it just be the ad it has found is way OTT ? Hence the apparent price plummet. The tax is a not unreasonable 345 quid a year. That said, the area it’s located in is a bit rough!

That was bought via BCA...Wulf Sternhammer said:
That has cleaned up very nicely indeed to be fair. Declaration of new gearbox unsurprising as this was the T6 Achilles heel.dscam said:
Does seem a very very nice car, that - I seem to recognise it's original registration, was it reasonably local when you bought it?Inspire said:
I’m tempted and have permission from the wife! I’ve emailed the seller through ebay!
What things should I be checking on it? There was a previous comment about suspension I recall. Calling Tobinen!
Thanks
Rob
Check all the electrics and and soft close. Check for damp A and C pillars (sunroof cassette rot) though the dry weather won't help that test. Springs can snap but you'd never know from driving it.What things should I be checking on it? There was a previous comment about suspension I recall. Calling Tobinen!

Engine and gearbox are pretty robust if regularly serviced. We look forward to the forecourt shot.
