I’m offering a dead dog removal service with my van
Given the reaction on the post, people are thinking dogs will die instantly in this heat. Plus it's there is always people who spotted someone walking their dog while driving, but where going to definitely stop and say something of they weren't so busy.
Current dispute on my local group about a cat.
Cat is meowing and clearly not cared for/fed, poor thing (pic included)
No, cat just likes to talk and is well looked after.
I can assure you I know a scrawny cat when I see one.
Well not in this case he eats well it is my neighbour's cat.
I wonder how long this will go on for....

And so it begins. Yes it's been warmer today, but jessu christ people are panicking about heat stroke in dogs, they should all be walked before 6 and after 7, owners should walk in barefeet so they know how hot the floor is, perhaps owners should walk in a fur coat.
Jesus Christ. It's going to be a long few months.

If you know where a ghost cat it located, you draw a chalk symbol on the pavement and the ghost cat catcher knows where to look. Flumpo said:

My son has just returned from a holiday in Dubai, lots of dogs being happily walked in 40 degrees plus there
Our dog, like all dogs here, is very happy in 30C+ heat.Regular walk does include some tarmac that I know from experience would singe my feet, seems fine for him.
Don’t even take water for him, drinks when we get home . He sometimes has a lie down in the sun afterwards…..so I’m assuming it’s not killing him. Always keen to go out. No lead, no chip!!
Not sure what temperature our roof tiles get to but the cat is happy lying out on them at midday.
