After being in power for over half a generation what has the Conservative government measurably improved since 2010?

Nothing, but they have made things far worse. That will be their legacy.

They’ve managed to break virtually every public service.

That takes a special kind of incompetence.

Legacy is Brexit (though took too long to execute) Covid vaccine (to divert from Covid Parties), Taking Back Control (of Trans Pennine Express), the shortest tenure of any PM of just 46 days (Liz Truss), a great comedy show every Wednesday lunchtime (PMQ's), increased Cost of Living, higher taxes... frown

..,kept Ed Milliband, Jeremy Corbyn et al out of government
The biggest, fastest roll out of covid vaccines (leave it there...)
Gave us Brexit (ish..)

It is time for a change, but its worth thinking would any other government be any better (see: rest of the western world..)

Oh, and we can build back better. Yeah!

It's always been the same in my lifetime

One side under funds - the other over funds the public sector

Just further proof that FPTP doesn’t work.

And I know nothing else does either.

Things look a lot better in Scotland under the SNP or Wales under Labour and Khan running London Well maybe not

Let’s think what life would have been like under Corbyn and Labour.

The thing we should value the most is our freedom, our ability to freely express our views liberty and equality, millions in the world don’t have these benefits and as we see with left wing governments in places like Spain the left like to be in control and remove those freedoms. The reintroduction of Face masks being their latest way to control the population. Our enemies are plentiful our European neighbours are weak one day your children may wake up and no longer live in a free democracy.

rofl

Because the Tories haven’t stifled any rights at all. Demonstrations are actively encouraged and in no way did they try to limit your rights. More KoolAid nonsense

And your answer is ? ….

That’s not a legacy.

I’d say the legacy is a failed austerity policy that reduced UK productivity for ideological reasons and a certain idiot whose name rhymes with an expletive is repeating it due to a cowardly media never challenging it. The lack of media challenge is one of the government’s legacies.

ETA, whether media influence will be so accepted or so willingly given will reveal a lot about how two faced some of the comentariat are come the revolution. I’m joking on the revolution bit.

Everything is fked.

Just like the last time they got into power. I'm not a natural Labour voter, but by christ they are better than this shower of ste. The Conservatives do nothing but damage. Ironic, given their name.

They have failed to conserve anything.

Pushed through Brexit even though they didn’t understand it, or how to make it work, then made absolute worst of it.

Gave all the contracts to their donors.

Foisted unelected PM’s on the populous.

Shorted the economy for their rich pals with plenty notice for what would be insider dealing if corporate.

The right answer.
Looping back through the elections:
2010 - Gordon Brown was the psychopathic tail end of Blair.
2015 - Miliband Minor. Enough said.
2017 - Corbyn.- As above
2019 - Corbyn - same again

The UK public when presented with the choice of a turd or a turd with sprinklings of salmonella chose the least offensive option.

FWIW Brexit ‘done’ is a good accomplishment. But obviously YMMV.

Time for a change and for the tories to actually work out what they want to govern for before labour collapses in very short order.

It is surely the legacy of nightmares!

Once the greatest trading nation on earth now a weakened, marginalised husk thanks to the utter lunacy that was Brexit.

A nation once actually known for our compassion towards displaced people in need, now seemingly hell bent on becoming an international pariah just so they can blow a dog whistle by sending a few poor sods to a dodgy Central African nation with a questionable human rights record a blossoming utopia (because they've passed a bill to change the dictionary definition of st hole) so they can pretend they're cracking down on immigration when they know that they can do no such thing.

I'm not sure there is one single redeeming quality of Conservative rule.

Explain what Brexit did exactly?

1) Compassionate? We've invaded all but 6 countries in the world.

2) Economic migrants aren't displaced.
