Between 1956 and 1959, BMW developed the 503 in an attempt to sell significant numbers of luxury cars in the United States.

Unfortunately, the 503 cost about twice its projected price and did not recover their costs, resulting in heavy losses for the company.

With all going well, the PistonHeads 503 won't suffer a similar fate, and should be back up running soon!
