January 2006 I Bought my first TVR, Chimaera 450, Peacock Blue. Several months later i had fitted Nitrons, HID lights. Now an amzing drive, and i can see at night!
March 2008 - Having driven 20k miles since i bought her, i dithered about trading in for a Tuscan, but this has been such a reliable, fun and well sorted car, that i couldn't bear to see her go. So - i've just had a Supercharger fitted by Racing Green. 425bhp (337 at the wheels), 400 ft/lbs torque!! Also had brake upgrade, new camshaft, new up-rated Griff 500 clutch and new ACT Cherry Bomb exhaust system. It was a great car before but goes extremely well now !!
July 2009
That Tuscan Itch just needed scratching. I bought a "well known" Black MK1 to add to the Chim. What a noise!! Plenty of Tunnel runs, a trip to Le Mans and an ASDA charity day were enjoyed in this beast.
March 2011
Having had a hankering for a supercar for many years, but neither the wherewithall nor the bravery to do it, i have sold the Tuscan and bought a Grigio Silverstone Ferrari F430 Spider. How many superlatives are needed? The build quality, ride, road presence. It has really exceeded my expectations. 2k miles in the first two months. I'm looking forward to enjoying this car to its limits. Will this be the car that encourages me to sell the Chim?...
August 2011
Now covered 4.5k miles in the 430. Fan- blooming-tastic !!
August 2012
10k miles in the Ferrari, two sets of boots, new brakes and discs and new clutch. Still loving it!!
The Chim is getting limited outings as a consequence, and i may need to consider letting it go to someone who will get more enjoyment from it.
Now sold the BMW and replaced it with a sensible Mercedes CLK 55 AMG convertible
May 2013
Still have all three V8s and a Diesel Pajero for the university runs
February 2014
Chim - gone
CLK 55 - gone
Pajero - gone
Hello FFRR TDV8 Autobiography
February 2015
Ferrari gone...
2023
Then, along came and went:
SL55 AMG
TVR Chimaera 500
and Bentley GTC V8, which I now have but is currently now for sale
