I'm an absolute car nut, but limited by my budget unfortunately.
Car history - '86 C Fiat Panda (brilliant), '89 F Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI (loved it), '95 M Golf 3 GTI (never let me down), '95 M TVR Chimaera 4L HC (great fun & VERY fast), '03 Honda Accord Tourer (kids arrived, dull), '05 Golf 5 GTI DSG (great but unreliable with awful customer service), '10 FL vRS Petrol Estate DSG in silver with Columbus, xenons, rear park, curtain bags, spare wheel, leather & deleted Octavia badge on boot. Probably the best all round car I've ever had. Love it! Recently sold Panda 100HP '08, owned from '12 to '14 - great fun little car. Panda now replaced by a '10 FL Manual 1.8 TSI Scout in Candy White with Columbus, xenons, rear park, heated electric memory seats and now 4 Falken Euro All Season tyres. August '16 - Scout now replaced by a '63 Citigo 75ps Greentech manual, 3-door in Brilliant Silver. Love it! So far, so good.

vRS still going strong at 80k miles - May '17, sold at 89k miles, replaced with '14 plate MkIII Octy vRS 220 DSG Estate in Candy White with Black Pack, Columbus & Pano roof - very, very pleased. May 2019, Citigo now swapped for a 2014 Golf Mk7 1.4 TSI DSG in Tungsten Silver - one word, brilliant. Mrs Dunc is very happy.

Since July 2019, vRS swapped for a Kia Stinger 3.3 GTS registered in March 2019. Early days, but just a phenomenal machine.

Stinger now firmly bedded into daily life - 11k miles in now. Two cars in one - relaxed cruiser in Eco, suspension, throttle and steering relaxed, the opposite in Sport or Sport+, with everything turned up to 11 !! Awesome all round car.

September 2021, Stinger changed for a 2018 BMW 530e. High quality product, but boring to drive and pricey to run.

(Stinger journey cut short by too many niggles - see my Kia Stinger GTS 2019 readers cars thread)

August 2022, BMW changed for a Skoda Superb L&K 272 Hatch. Happier now. Great car. Skoda mapped to 350bhp in March 2023. Rapid but comfy and enjoying all the toys. De-badged too.

January 2024, Superb PXd for a 2021 Mercedes C43 estate Premium Plus with factory Performance Exhaust. Now really happy. 385bhp. Need to stop changing cars. Hope the Merc is the answer for a good while.
