Details: Have you ever dreamed of racing your car along an airport runway? Or are you looking for a unique gift idea for a car crazy friend? Then Race the Runway 2010 is the event for you!

Race the Runway 2010 is a once in a life time opportunity to race your car down the 1.8km Edinburgh Airport runway, which will be transformed into the longest drag strip in Scotland.

There will be six races on the day. Each will consist of heats and a final. Places cost £300 and are very limited so grab your spot quickly so you don't miss out!

This is only the second time Edinburgh Airport has closed one of its runways for the event, which raised £16,000 last year. Organisers are hoping to raise £50,000 for St Columba's Hospice in Edinburgh and the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow.
