The GT900 is an invitation only, supercar rally taking place over 3 consecutive days on the weekend of July 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
A high-octane, 3 day prestige car Grand Tour of the west coast of Ireland in aid of The Hope Foundation.
In the spirit of the great trans-European tours of times past, the GT900 Rally will have some of the finest performance and classic cars in Ireland, UK and beyond. Up to 100 cars and drivers join in this epic 3 day, non-competitive rally through some of Ireland’s most spectacular scenery, with an exciting mix of cars, castles, celebrities, cuisine and amazing entertainment, with the target of raising €100,000 for The Hope Foundation.
The Hope Foundation is a Cork-based charity that runs over 60 projects for street and slum children in Calcutta, giving thousands of children the chance to break the cycle of poverty.
Supported by key sponsors Alfa Romeo (FIAT Ireland) and NewsTalk Radio, the GT900 Rally leaves Fota Island Resort on Friday 2 July and winds its way up the west coast through counties Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Galway, Mayo and Sligo, finishing back in Cork on Sunday 4th July with a special welcome home, end of rally party, complete with presentations and prize-giving.
Pit-stops along the way include Dromoland Castle, Westport House, the Brehon Hotel in Killarney, the Strand Hotel in Limerick and the Clarion in Sligo. Cars entered already include prestige marques such as Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lotus, Jaguar and Aston Martin.
