This Grand Tour will lead us deep into the Alpine mountains driving on the most amazing picturesque roads and mountain passes that Europe has to offer. We will spend six days Grand Touring and exploring Switzerland, Italy and Austria. You will get to drive famous roads like the Stelvio Pass but also our hidden gems that are deserted driving heaven on earth.
Luxury Grand Touring is not about being on the road 24/7. We spend six nights in total at exclusive 5 star luxury spa hotels where you can relax in fresh mountain air, enjoy fine michelin star dining and let the car cool down for the next leg of the Grand Tour. This trip is organized and planned especially to be ideal for couples for a romantic drive together. This is why our Grand Tour has optional non driving days that give you or your partner the possibility to spend the day at a luxury spa or attend other alpine activities.
The journey starts when we fly to Geneva airport and head towards luxury spa resort The Gstaad Palace where your car will be waiting for you. At the ?2.000 per night the Gstaad Palace is one of the worlds finest hotels and situated up high in the Swiss mountains is the perfect place to start your alpine experience.
On our first driving day we will tour around the beautiful Swiss alps and get to see spectacular scenery. If the fresh air has made you lazy that is perfectly fine, you can spend the day at the Palace Spa that offers a signature treatment called the Hammam Experience. This is a special ritual that begins with a soothing foot bath followed by tranquil moments in the “Infinity Room”. Afterwards a cleansing soap foam body massage awaits you before the journey continues with a steam bath and a dip in the “Floating Pool”. After a break in the private relaxation room, a moisturizing oil massage completes this amazing experience.
Day 3 will lead us on mountain passes towards the Italian border Arosa where we will stay at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel another 5 star resort we will base our selves for two nights.
Day 4 is a big day for we spend it on the worlds most famous mountain passes and experience some truly unforgettable drives. As non driving options you can also spend the day at the hotel and the luxury spa that offers you the famous Espa treatments.
Day 5 we drive east arriving at the Austrian Riviera where you will have a magical stay at the Capella Schloss Velden lakeside chateau which is truly one of life's great travel experiences. Located on Europe’s largest and warmest Alpine lake Wörther See, this paramount hotel offers water activities, fine dining and many entertainment options. We spend two day at the chateau where the nearby Carinthia region is ideal for non driving activities, such as horseback riding, golfing, mountain climbing, walking or a lazy day at the luxury spa.
Day 6 as a special driving treat we spend the day on our hidden gem roads that are deserted mountain roads in Austria. This region is also famous for hill climbing races.
Day 7 is our final lazy alpine morning and flight back to London. For those who want even more driving a two day guided Grand Touring trip from Velden to UK can be arranged. Please ask more about this option when booking.
No additional booking or travel hassle is needed. We fly direct and your ultimate driving machine will be collected and taken care of. Your car will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive at the Gstaad Palace and shipped back from Velden after the last day of our Grand Tour to your desired address.
