Race the Runway is an event to raise vital funds for St Columba's Hospice, Edinburgh. It is being organised in conjunction with BAA Edinburgh and is sponsored by Edinburgh Audi.

A unique opportunity to visit Air Traffic Control at Edinburgh Airport, an area normally out of bounds to the general public.
Flames...
You'll be fully kitted out in Aviation Firefighter breathing apparatus as you are taken through a fire simulation exercise in the fire training ground.
And AUTOMOBILES!
The chance to see what your own car can really do as you race against the clock along the airport runway. You'll race the 2k distance for both a straight and slalom route and we'll clock the maximum speed along the way. Of course, there will be a prize for the fastest time!
The afternoon will begin with refreshments at 3.30pm and the activities will start from 4.00pm. The afternoon will be rounded off with a buffet meal and prize giving.
