Triumph TR3A - YSJ 711 - Major Works (excluding servicing and minor works.) 16/07/1959 - First registered & exported to USA 24/05/1999 - Imported back to UK 06/08/2005 - Purchased by current owner 04/04/2006 - New rack & pinion steering rack 26/03/2012 - Conversion to right-hand drive, replace engine mounts, brake discs, pads, and add servo 22/03/2013 - Re-built car seats with new leather covers (in storage) 10/02/2014 - Gearbox re-built and re-conditioned overdrive added 20/02/2014 - New rear axle with TR4 gearing and associated works 16/07/2014 - New door panels & carpets 26/08/2014 - New mohair hood 06/05/2014 - New Racetorations purpose-made leather seats with headrests 16/06/2016 - New Vredestein tyres & chrome wire wheels 01/07/2016 - New Super poly bushes to front suspension, renovate front vertical posts & trunnions, new road springs, wheel bearings etc. New exhaust 27/05/2017 - Uprated shock absorbers 09/08/2018 - Complete rebuild including new Newman uprated camshaft, re-ground & polished crankshaft, new pistons, liners, rings, oil seals, bushes and full balancing etc. 09/08/2018 - Overhaul carburettors. Also new alternator, Revotec electric fan etc., new large bore exhaust system, new fuel pump. Re-build rear brakes. Replace track rod ends etc. 16/09/2020 - Overdrive & Gearbox overhaul. New solenoid, new brake master cylinder, new shock absorbers. 08/02/2022 - New rear heavy-duty springs, Repair chassis turrets and reinforce as necessary 14/12/2022 - Replace interior & exterior lighting with LEDs 08/09/2023 - Replace water pump 29/03/2023 - New Alternator, high-torque Powerlite starter motor, all brake pipes, brake master cylinders, wiper motor, wiring harness & additional loom, upgraded 1.5” SU4 carburettors and linkage, Phoenix big-bore exhaust and more. Complete re-wiring including upgrades such as hazard warning lights, lighting, interior lights, internal bonnet light, automatic reversing lights & USB socket 08/09/2023 - New water pump. 09/05/2025 - New mechanical ignition set-up, new petrol pump, balance carburettors, fit new fuel tank and revise fuel pipework to carburettors.
