Built in April 1996 at the Genk assembly plant in Belgium, this is a particularly rare version of the Mk 5 Transit

It's powered by a 2.5-litre Turbo-Charged (TC/TD) diesel engine (85bhp) paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission

The 'L' body-style confirms it left the factory with provisions for side glass, rather than being a solid panel van shell

First registered in December 1996 and supplied new by Cowie Ford Motor Holdings, West Yorkshire, to its first and only owner, Betty, appropriately registered ‘P22 BET’
