The 570S Spider Introduced in 2017, the 570S Spider brought open-air motoring to McLaren's Sports Series without compromise. It shares the coupé's carbon fibre MonoCell II chassis, which needs no additional strengthening when the roof is removed, so the Spider keeps the rigidity, balance and precision that made the range so widely admired. The two-piece retractable hard top opens or closes in around 15 seconds at up to 25 mph, and with the roof raised the Spider matches the coupé for outright performance.
