Created by Bespoke Defenders of Harrogate, it captures the drama of the James Bond Spectre look in a deeply individual commission. The green-and-black finish gives it a character all its own: muscular, purposeful and unmistakably Defender.

The ambition behind this build is reflected in the investment. Bespoke’s documented conversion alone amounted to £61,433.40, before the cost of the vehicle. That was followed by a £25,759.42 engine rebuild and automatic-conversion project in March 2026, carried out by Steve Toyer Limited, the Land Rover specialist in Cornwall.

Just 580 miles have been covered since the mileage recorded on that rebuild invoice.

Open the door and the attention to detail continues. Leather-trimmed high-back front seats, matching rear seating, leather door cards and cubby box, a leather steering wheel and the ebony suede interior package bring richness and texture to the cabin. Carpeting and soundproofing complete an interior designed to make time behind the wheel part of the attraction.

A Kenwood multimedia head unit sits within a colour-matched green fascia, complemented by a Powerbass three-way speaker system. A reversing camera, Thinkware front and rear dash cameras, USB charging and a dedicated phone mount add everyday convenience.

At its heart is the five-cylinder TD5 turbo-diesel, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The 2026 mechanical project included a replacement short engine and cylinder head, Garrett turbocharger, timing-chain kit, oil and water pumps, radiator, intercooler and oil cooler, together with extensive supporting components.

The automatic conversion was accompanied by a heavy-duty torque converter and a rebuilt LT230 transfer box. A replacement Denso starter motor followed in September 2026. It is a substantial programme of specialist work, backed by detailed invoices.

An extensive accompanying history file includes Bespoke conversion documentation, service records and summaries dating back to 2008, MOT paperwork, and invoices for the subsequent mechanical, electrical and detailing work.
